Job Title: Operations Manager – Food Industry
Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily food production and operational activities to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and profitability. This role ensures that food operations meet regulatory standards, customer expectations, and company performance targets while managing teams, processes, and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production

  • Oversee daily food production, processing, or restaurant operations
  • Ensure smooth workflow across procurement, production, storage, and distribution
  • Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and supplier coordination

Quality & Food Safety

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, FDA/USDA or local authorities)
  • Maintain quality standards for taste, presentation, and consistency
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and corrective actions

People Management

  • Lead, train, and supervise production and operations staff
  • Schedule shifts and manage labor costs
  • Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Cost & Performance Management

  • Control operational costs including labor, raw materials, and utilities
  • Monitor KPIs such as yield, waste, downtime, and service levels
  • Prepare operational reports for senior management
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Equipment & Facility Management

  • Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen/plant equipment
  • Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility

Customer & Business Support

  • Support new product launches or menu changes
  • Address operational issues impacting customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with sales, supply chain, QA, and finance teams

Requirements

  • Visa 18 (Normal Visa) only
  • Immediate joiner
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in the food industry inside Kuwait
  • Candidates from Asian countries only
  • Strong knowledge of food operations, inventory control, and staff management
  • Experience with food safety standards (HACCP, hygiene, quality control)
  • Ability to manage operations in a fast-paced environment
