Role Description

We are seeking a battle-hardened and ambitious Operations Manager to lead our Karachi Station through a critical scaling phase. The ideal candidate will be a "lead-from-the-front" strategist, equally comfortable on the warehouse floor as they are in the boardroom, with a proven ability to recruit and establish a high-performance team and rider fleet from scratch. You will be responsible for the end-to-end operational architecture—from First Mile intake to Last Mile execution—ensuring surgical precision within pre-defined transit times. The Operations Manager will oversee all daily logistics operations, ensure timely and efficient shipping and delivery processes, manage staff and resources, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards. Additional responsibilities include streamlining operations, implementing process improvements, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.


Qualifications


  • 5+ years of leadership in high-volume courier or logistics environments (Startup experience is a major advantage).

  • Advanced knowledge of logistics management systems, route optimization software, and data-driven decision-making.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing station-level company finances and budgeting, ensuring the integrity of all monetary collections through timely bank deposits and the preparation of comprehensive financial reports to maintain absolute fiscal transparency.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee daily operations and supervise staff.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain management, and process optimization.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data to monitor performance metrics and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry; experience with COD and courier services is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Karachi’s topography and the ability to solve problems under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
