Operations Manager

Unified Talent Group is supporting the search for a Manager of Operations to lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure product lines consistently meet critical cost, schedule, and performance goals.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced operational environment and bring strong leadership experience managing complex programs, teams, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional teams responsible for the operational performance of assigned product lines
• Oversee cost, schedule, technical execution, and profitability objectives
• Serve as the primary customer contact for product line activities and lead review sessions related to cost, pricing, schedule, and performance
• Establish milestones and ensure adherence to master schedules and operational plans
• Identify operational challenges and implement strategies to improve productivity, margins, and overall performance
• Implement Lean processes and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Participate in proposal development and contract negotiations related to product line changes
• Develop and manage departmental budgets including staffing levels, overtime requirements, and operational expenses
• Monitor operational performance and prepare reports for customers, leadership, and internal stakeholders

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
• Demonstrated results using LEAN and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• 8–10 years of relevant operational or manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing operational performance
• Experience working in technical or manufacturing environments preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
