Irshad International Group is a diversified conglomerate with operations in trading, contracting, logistics, and general services across Qatar. We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee our daily business activities and drive operational excellence in Doha.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple business units (trading, contracting, logistics).
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize operational costs.
- Lead and supervise team leaders and department heads.
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, logistics, and customer service teams.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Labor Law, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in trading, contracting, or logistics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic or Urdu/Hindi is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Experience with budget management and cost optimization.
- Valid QID (Qatar ID) and NOC (No Objection Certificate) preferred.
- Knowledge of Qatar's business landscape and regulatory environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in a diversified group or holding company.
- Professional certification (PMP, Six Sigma, or similar).
- Knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes.
