Operations Manager

PTWL is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in technical works, landscaping, civil, and/or MEP projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE experience managing multi-site operations, leading teams, and ensuring successful project delivery across diverse construction and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities1. Operations Planning & Execution

• Oversee daily operations across multiple technical works and landscaping projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project execution to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Develop and implement efficient operational strategies and workflows.
• Ensure smooth mobilization, execution, and completion of site activities.

2. Team & Site Management

• Manage site teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers across projects.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and performance monitoring to ensure productivity and quality.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources effectively across sites.
• Ensure coordination between all operational teams for smooth execution.

3. Project Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, consultants, and internal departments.
• Ensure alignment between design, execution, procurement, and site operations.
• Support project delivery by resolving operational and site-related challenges.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide operational updates.

4. Cost Control & Resource Management

• Monitor and control project budgets, operational costs, and resource utilization.
• Oversee procurement coordination for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Ensure efficient use of manpower and minimize operational waste.
• Support management in financial and performance decision-making.

5. Quality, Compliance & HSE

• Ensure all works comply with UAE regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Enforce quality control procedures across all project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all operations.

6. Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Prepare operational reports, progress updates, and performance summaries.
• Track project progress, risks, delays, and operational challenges.
• Provide recommendations for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• Support senior management with data-driven decision-making.

7. Process Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across operations.
• Standardize workflows to enhance productivity and quality.
• Introduce best practices for site execution and operational management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in operations, technical works, landscaping, civil, or MEP projects.
• Strong experience in managing multi-site operations and diverse project teams.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction, landscaping, and technical works practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and decision-making capabilities.
• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
