Operations Manager

Lead Manufacturing Operations at a Company That's Been Building Quality Products Since 1935

H. Risch, Inc. is a family-owned and operated manufacturer of premium menu covers, check presenters, binders, placemats, and hospitality products serving restaurants, hotels, casinos, country clubs, and hospitality brands throughout North America.

We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing operation, develop employees, improve processes, and ensure customer orders are shipped on time and to the highest quality standards.

This is not a desk job.

The successful candidate will spend significant time on the production floor working directly with department leads and employees to remove bottlenecks, improve workflow, develop people, and drive accountability across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead all production departments, including Assembly/Bindery, Printing, Shipping, Cutting, and Sewing
• Own the daily production schedule and shipment plan
• Conduct daily production meetings and establish priorities
• Supervise department leads and production supervisors
• Ensure customer orders ship on time and meet quality standards
• Drive productivity, workflow, and process improvement initiatives
• Develop and coach employees and future leaders
• Establish accountability for performance, quality, attendance, and safety
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures
• Monitor key performance indicators and operational results
• Partner with Purchasing, Inventory, and Executive Leadership to support company goals
• Lead quality improvement and corrective action initiatives
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and equipment planning

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience required
• Experience leading supervisors, department leads, or production teams
• Experience in custom manufacturing or made-to-order environments preferred
• ERP experience required; NetSuite experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
