Operations Manager - Aerospace CNC Machine Shop

Continental Precision is a growing precision machining company based in Phoenix, Arizona. We specialize in high-precision CNC machining for aerospace, defense, and industrial customers. Our shop operates advanced CNC milling and turning equipment and is focused on quality, on-time delivery, and long-term partnerships with our customers.

We are seeking an experienced General Manager / Operations Manager to lead and manage daily operations at our Phoenix facility.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the CNC machine shop, including production planning, team leadership, quality standards, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge and the leadership ability to guide a skilled team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the CNC machining facility
• Manage machinists, programmers, and shop personnel
• Coordinate production scheduling and job priorities
• Ensure quality standards and on-time delivery for customers
• Work closely with ownership on operational planning and growth
• Improve shop efficiency, workflow, and productivity
• Support hiring, training, and team development
• Maintain strong communication with customers and suppliers

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in CNC machining or manufacturing
• 3+ years experience in a leadership or management role
• Strong understanding of CNC milling and turning operations
• Experience with production scheduling and shop workflow
• Knowledge of aerospace or tight-tolerance machining preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
