Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager – Aluminum & Façade to oversee and optimize all operational aspects of façade and aluminum projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient project execution, resource optimization, quality compliance, cost control, and timely delivery across multiple projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Project Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day operations of aluminum and façade projects from planning through completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved specifications.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, factory teams, and site teams to ensure smooth execution.
Resource & Team Management
- Manage manpower planning, equipment allocation, and material flow across multiple projects.
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, supervisors, and support teams.
- Evaluate team performance and implement training and improvement plans where required.
Production & Factory Coordination
- Coordinate with factory/production teams to ensure timely fabrication and delivery of aluminum and façade components.
- Monitor production schedules, capacity planning, and quality output.
- Resolve production or site-related bottlenecks impacting project timelines.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, local authority regulations, and company quality policies.
- Enforce HSE policies across factory and site operations.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews to maintain quality and safety standards.
Cost Control & Commercial Management
- Monitor operational costs and ensure effective budget utilization.
- Support variation management, value engineering initiatives, and cost optimization strategies.
- Review procurement plans and coordinate with purchasing teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Support senior management in client meetings and major project reviews.
- Address escalated client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain operational efficiency.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Prepare operational performance reports for senior management.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Identify risks and implement preventive and corrective actions across projects.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 15–20 years of experience in aluminum, façade, or construction operations.
- Proven experience managing multiple façade or aluminum projects simultaneously.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of façade systems, aluminum curtain walls, cladding, and glazing.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and cost-control expertise.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE and quality management systems.
