The Operations Manager BWTS will be responsible for driving the growth and success of the BWTS Operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for sales revenue and conversion of customer requests to orders and also contributes to the commercial and technical business development of the BWTS business line.

The Operations Manager will cooperate closely with the spares Sales & Procurement team, the Commercial team and the Technical Services team and will report to the COO.

The position will be based in Chennai India.


Description

  • Leading a team of Project Managers to fulfill BWTS service projects.
  • Managing and executing the process of sales operations, coordination of the execution of the BWTS jobs by our Service Engineers and the final administration including invoicing to the customer.
  • Creating an environment which encourages and inspires the team to be their best: responsive to customers and internal stakeholders focused on driving results to meet the organizational goals and objectives.
  • Continuously identifying process gaps and seeking to enhance productivity and service quality to achieve operational excellence.
  • Contribute to the commercial and technical development of the business line of BWTS for Mr. Marine in cooperation with the Commercial team and the Technical Services team.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in the maritime services industry with a proven track record in management/leadership.
  • Sector Depth: must be embedded in the Marine service market with a professional network across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Specialization: Demonstrated strong experience in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) procedures in the BWTS market is required.
  • Technical Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Marine Education (or a related engineering/maritime technical field).
