Role Overview

MID Construction Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Construction to support and optimize day-to-day operational activities across residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in construction operations, with strong leadership capabilities, process improvement expertise, and a proven ability to drive efficiency, cost control, and project execution.

This role will work closely with onshore leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes to support construction project execution.
  • Oversee and coordinate offshore operational support for project management, scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Site Teams to ensure alignment on timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project performance metrics, including productivity, cost controls, schedules, and risk indicators.
  • Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety guidelines, and construction best practices.
  • Prepare and present regular operational reports, dashboards, and performance summaries to management.
  • Support process standardization, SOP development, and scalability initiatives as the company grows.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction operations or project management (residential or commercial preferred).
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, scheduling, documentation, and cost tracking.
  • Proven leadership experience managing remote or offshore teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage a flexible 20-hour work week.
  • Experience working with US-based construction teams is a strong advantage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED29.38 - AED36.73 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
