Operations Manager – FMCG

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee daily administrative and operational activities within our FMCG distribution business. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between procurement, warehousing, logistics, sales support, and finance, while driving operational efficiency and cost control.

Key Responsibilities.

* Oversee day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the FMCG business

* Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock reconciliation

* Supervise logistics planning, fleet coordination, and timely delivery execution

* Coordinate with procurement for demand planning and stock availability

* Ensure proper documentation, invoicing, LPO processing, and compliance procedures

* Monitor operational KPIs including stock turnover, shrinkage, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency

* Implement and improve SOPs for warehouse, distribution, and administrative workflows

* Lead and supervise operations staff including warehouse, drivers, and admin team

* Support sales team with stock availability, pricing coordination, and promotional execution

* Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies

* Prepare operational reports and performance analysis for management review

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field

* Minimum 5–8 years of experience in FMCG operations or distribution management

* Strong knowledge of inventory systems, ERP software, and logistics planning

* Proven leadership and team management skills

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple departments simultaneously

* Experience in the Qatar/GCC FMCG market is preferred
