Operations Manager HVAC

The Operations Manager is the operational backbone of Brooklyn General Maintenance. This senior role is responsible for overseeing all field operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of world-class AC duct cleaning, HVAC hygiene, disinfection, and maintenance services across client sites in the UAE. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and a genuine commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence, values that define everything Brooklyn GM stands for.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management

– Oversee day-to-day field operations and ensure smooth execution of all scheduled works

– Coordinate and direct a team of 9 technicians, drivers, and operational support staff

– Plan and manage daily schedules, manpower allocation, transportation, and site logistics

– Monitor job progress in real time and ensure all works are completed on time and to company standards

– Identify operational bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement across all workflows

Quality Control & Service Standards

– Ensure all AC cleaning, disinfection, and HVAC maintenance works adhere to Brooklyn GM's procedures and hygiene standards

– Conduct pre- and post-job inspections and quality checks at client sites

– Ensure correct use of equipment, chemicals, PPE, and approved cleaning protocols at all times

– Follow up on service quality, client feedback, and implement corrective actions where required

– Uphold and champion Brooklyn GM's commitment to excellence on every job

Client Coordination

– Act as the operational point of contact for clients regarding appointments, site access, and service updates

– Handle on-site concerns professionally and resolve service-related issues promptly

– Support the General Manager in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring consistently high satisfaction levels

Team Supervision & Development

– Supervise field teams and monitor individual and collective staff performance

– Ensure all technicians follow company SOPs, safety procedures, and site protocols without exception

– Lead onboarding and field training of new operational staff

– Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and growth mindset within the team

– Support technician development and contribute to a high-performance operational environment

Inventory & Equipment

– Monitor and manage availability of operational materials, consumables, tools, and equipment

– Coordinate preventive maintenance and servicing of company equipment and vehicles

– Ensure proper handling, storage, and control of all operational supplies

Reporting & Documentation

– Prepare accurate operational reports, job completion records, and service updates

– Coordinate with administration on scheduling, and invoicing support

– Maintain thorough documentation of operational activities, site observations, and team performance

Health & Safety

– Ensure full compliance with Brooklyn GM's safety procedures and UAE health and safety standards

– Conduct regular toolbox talks and reinforce a culture of safe working practices

– Monitor operational risks, report incidents, and take immediate corrective action on unsafe conditions

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

– Strong leadership with a hands-on, results-driven management style

– Solid understanding of HVAC systems, AC duct cleaning, and maintenance operations

– Excellent organisational and scheduling abilities across multiple simultaneous jobs

– Sharp problem-solving and decision-making under pressure

– Strong communication and client-handling skills, professional and composed at all times

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

– Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management within HVAC, maintenance, or facilities services

– UAE experience is essential; Abu Dhabi market knowledge is a strong advantage

– Demonstrated experience managing field teams and complex operational logistics

– Good understanding of AC cleaning, disinfection, and HVAC maintenance operations

– Valid UAE driving licence — mandatory

– Professional proficiency in English — mandatory

– Arabic language skills — an advantage

WORKING CONDITIONS

– Combination of office-based planning and regular field site visits

– Frequent travel across client sites within the UAE

– Flexibility in working hours based on operational and client requirements

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

– Operational efficiency and on-time job completion rates

– Service quality scores and client satisfaction levels

– Team productivity, attendance, and performance

– Compliance with safety and operational procedures

– Reduction in callbacks, operational errors, and service issues

– Staff retention and team development outcomes

REPORTING LINE

Reports directly to: General Manager

Direct Reports: Technicians, Drivers, and Operational Support Staff (9 team members)
