Operations Manager – Jump City Inflatables & Events

Pay: Starting at $22/hr + Weekly Performance Bonus + End-of-Season Bonus

Jump City Inflatables & Events is one of Minnesota’s largest inflatable and event companies with over 250 inflatables, mechanical attractions, event equipment, and thousands of happy customers each year. We are looking for an Operations Manager to help lead our warehouse, oversee truck dispatching, maintain high standards, and keep our operation running efficiently during our busiest season.

This is not a desk job. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys organization, accountability, fast-paced operations, and leading teams.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $22/hr
• Weekly Scorecard Bonus: +$100
• End-of-Season Performance Bonus

Schedule

Primary schedule:

Thursday
Friday
Saturday
Sunday
Monday

Off Days:

Tuesday + Wednesday

Hours will vary during peak season and event weekends.

Responsibilities

Truck & Route Operations

• Coordinate and verify trailer loading
• Ensure trucks leave on time and loaded correctly
• Manage route readiness and staging
• Verify all required equipment is loaded
• Maintain load consistency across all trucks

Warehouse Leadership

• Direct warehouse teams and assign tasks
• Manage cleaning crews and workflow
• Maintain organization throughout warehouse
• Identify damaged equipment and repair needs
• Ensure equipment standards are maintained

Staff Accountability

• Lead by example
• Hold employees accountable to company standards
• Address issues immediately
• Maintain efficiency and team performance
• Communicate with drivers and event staff

Operations Oversight

• Support large events and staffed rentals
• Troubleshoot operational issues
• Act as the bridge between warehouse, drivers, and management

Weekly Performance Scorecard

Eligible for an additional $100 weekly bonus based on:

• Trucks depart on time
• Trailer load accuracy
• Warehouse organization
• Equipment readiness
• Team accountability and performance

Ideal Candidate

• Leadership experience preferred
• Warehouse, logistics, dispatch, construction, moving, or operations experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Comfortable managing teams in fast-paced environments
• Problem solver with urgency
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Must be 18+
• Valid driver's license required

Experience with inflatables is not required. Leadership, organization, and ownership matter more.
