Operations Manager – Lawn Maintenance & Landscape Installation

About Us

We are a rapidly growing lawn maintenance and landscape installation company serving the Tampa area.

We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to help us scale efficiently, improve crew performance, and bring structure to our daily operations.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all field operations, including maintenance and landscape installation crews. This role will take ownership of scheduling, production efficiency, and quality control, working closely with the owner to streamline and improve operations.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take full ownership of production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all field crews (maintenance and installation)
• Own daily and weekly scheduling for all jobs
• Ensure jobs are completed on time and within budgeted hours
• Supervise and develop crew leaders and field staff
• Coordinate with irrigation and spray technicians
• Maintain quality control across all properties and projects
• Work with the office/account manager to ensure smooth communication with clients
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
• Track labor hours, productivity, and job costing

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in landscape or lawn maintenance operations management (preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience scheduling crews and managing production workflows
• Ability to read and manage job budgets and labor hours
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 (based on experience)
• Performance-based bonuses
