Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our Lawn and Irrigation teams, as well as participating on the Snow Management Team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure excellent service delivery, and foster a culture of safety and excellence. Your leadership will drive project success across lawn care, fertilization, irrigation, and snow removal projects during all seasons.

2. Functional Role
· Oversee all local operations of summer maintenance (Lawn Care, Fertilization, and Irrigation Service).
· Ensure high-quality service delivery, profitable operations, excellent customer satisfaction, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and efficient crew and equipment management.
· Participate in Snow Removal Management (as part of the Snow Management Team)
3. Authority
· Lead, Manage, Hold Accountable, Hire and Fire Lawn and Irrigation Field Staff
· Purchase Materials and Supplies for Lawn and Irrigation in accordance with company guidelines
· Negotiate and execute Subcontractor contracts for Lawn and Snow.
· Assist in budgeting for equipment needs and replacement planning.
4. Reporting Relationships
· Reports to Director of Operations
· Direct communication with Sales and Customer Experience teams
· Give direction directly to Crew Leads and Technicians in Maintenance Department
· Oversee Subcontractors for Lawn and Snow
5. Responsibilities/Expectations
· Operational Leadership
1. Lead daily operational planning and execution for summer maintenance.
2. Develop and implement schedules, routing, and crew/subcontractor assignments based on seasonal demand and service priorities.
3. For winter – management and leadership work will be divided/assigned by the Director of Operations.
4. Monitor field productivity and enforce quality control standards on all active accounts.
5. Active in account inspection and site walk-throughs.
· Staff Management
1. Supervise foremen, crew leads, and field staff; responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
2. Manage subcontractor relationships.
3. Ensure crews are equipped with proper tools, PPE, and safety training.
4. Mentor and develop future supervisory talent.
5. Assist if needed with production during peak season.
· Customer Experience & Contract Fulfillment
1. Ensure contractual obligations are met in alignment with company standards.
2. Help as needed with Customer Service inquiries and issues
3. Support sales/estimating teams with transition planning for new accounts.
· Financial Performance & Reporting
1. Track operational performance metrics, labor productivity, and service profitability.
2. Assist as needed with job tracking, budgets, and efficiency analysis.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
