Job Summary: The Operations Manager - Leasing Maintenance will plan and oversee the daily operations of the leasing maintenance department to ensure company goals and objectives are achieved.
Essential Job Duties:- Provides strong, visible leadership and effective management of production personnel.
- Hires and trains new employees.
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.
- Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
- Coordinates with other support departments such as quality, human resources, finance, procurement, stores, planning, facilities, sales and logistics to ensure successful production operations.
- Determines labor needs to meet production goals.
- Assists with budget preparation for operations unit.
- Assists with, or prepares and updates, organization’s operations manual and policies.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Secondary Duties:
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:Minimum:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Powerplant Certificate required.
3. 10+ years of aviation experience.
4. 5 years of industry related supervisory experience
5. Must have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access
6. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
7. Must always project a positive and professional image for the Company
8. Must be able to deal with confidential information appropriately
9. Read, write, speak and understand the English language
10. Occasional outside local and out of town travel is required, involving driving and/or flying (10%)
Preferred:
1. Bachelor’s degree in management or related field preferred.
2. Strong experience with Quantum and/or AMOS.
3. LEAN/Six Sigma Trained or Certified
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift 15 pounds, climb stairs, bend, and stoop as necessary.
2. Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
3. Normal office environment where approximately 70% of work is performed in a sitting position.
4. Frequent exposure to the outside hangar areas for meetings and employee relations functions for varying lengths of time.
