Position Overview

Merchantory, a fast-growing retail, liquidation, and global sourcing division of Bottom Billion Corporation (BBC), is seeking a driven and highly organized Operations Manager / Operations Coordinator to support its expanding global operations.

As BBC continues to scale its activities across the United States, Asia, Africa, and South America, this role will be essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day coordination, cross-department alignment, and efficient execution of operational processes.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams while supporting leadership with operational oversight, deliverable tracking, and consistent follow-through across global teams. This is a high-impact role with significant opportunities for growth as Merchantory and BBC expand internationally.

Key Responsibilities1. Operational Coordination & Workflow Management

  • Support execution of daily operational activities across departments.
  • Manage workflows, internal processes, and cross-team communication to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Maintain centralized task tracking systems and ensure timely follow-ups on all action items.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency.

2. Scheduling & Administrative Support

  • Coordinate schedules across multiple time zones.
  • Manage calendars, meeting logistics, internal/external communications, and document preparation.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture minutes, and track post-meeting deliverables.

3. Communication & Stakeholder Follow-Up

  • Ensure all departments stay aligned through structured follow-ups and clear communication.
  • Serve as a point of coordination for internal teams, consultants, and external partners.
  • Draft and manage routine internal communications and operational updates.

4. Performance Tracking

  • Maintain trackers and simple dashboards for operational KPIs and deadlines.
  • Assist in monitoring progress of ongoing projects and preparing summary reports.
  • Support leadership with data gathering, documentation, and performance insights.

5. Process Improvement & Systems Support

  • Support implementation of operational tools, documentation systems, and internal processes.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and accountability.
  • Assist with onboarding materials and documentation for new hires or partners.

Qualifications and ExperienceEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience may substitute.

Experience

  • 2–5+ years of experience in operations, coordination, administrative management, or project support.
  • Experience working with international teams and remote environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with task tracking and project management tools (Asana, Google Workspace,Slack etc.).

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and common productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹420.00 - ₹1,670.00 per hour
