Position Summary

A well-established luxury residential construction and remodeling company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee field operations, maintain project momentum, support construction teams, and help solve complex day-to-day challenges across multiple active projects and divisions.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with extensive construction experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the temperament to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, respected in the field, and capable of stepping in wherever needed to keep operations moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

Field Operations & Team Oversight

• Assist with oversight, scheduling, coordination, and management of field labor crews
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance oversight of field personnel
• Help ensure field staff maintain professionalism, productivity, and accountability
• Assist with daily operational coordination between office, warehouse, and jobsites

Project Oversight & Problem Solving

• Monitor active construction and remodeling projects to help maintain schedules and project flow
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues, delays, conflicts, and field obstacles
• Work closely with project management and field leadership to maintain quality standards
• Step in to help “put out fires” and resolve urgent operational or construction concerns as they arise
• Provide practical solutions and maintain forward progress on projects

Quality Control & Vendor Coordination

• Assist with project quality oversight and field inspections
• Work closely with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Assist with vetting and management of subcontractors and vendors
• Help ensure punch lists, warranty items, and corrective work are completed properly and timely

Warehouse & Cabinet Operations Oversight

• Oversee organization and operational flow within warehouse environments
• Coordinate labor and logistics related to cabinet assembly, delivery, and installation support
• Help ensure material handling, staging, and deliveries are performed efficiently and professionally

Qualifications

• Extensive residential construction experience required
• Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Area Manager, Superintendent, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, sequencing, and field operations
• Experience managing multiple active projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and effectively under pressure
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage difficult situations professionally and calmly
• Flexible, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset required
• Strong understanding of construction quality standards and field practices
• Experience with remodeling and custom residential construction preferred
• Cabinetry or millwork operations experience is a plus

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
• Must be willing to travel between jobsites, warehouse locations, and office environments as needed
• Must be dependable, professional, and highly responsive
• Must be comfortable working in both office and field environments
• Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment drug screening
