Operations Manager – Shipping

Job Summary

Nujom Al Sidra Shipping Services L.L.C is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage daily shipping and vessel operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between vessels, port authorities, agents, charterers, and internal teams while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and safety.

Job Requirements:

- Operations:

- Vessel Operations Manager: 5+ years of experience in managing vessel operations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of cargo.

- Port Operations Manager: 5+ years of experience in managing port operations, including cargo handling and logistics.

- Chartering:

- Chartering Manager: 5+ years of experience in negotiating charter parties, managing vessel employment, and optimizing revenue.

- Shipbroker: 3+ years of experience in connecting buyers and sellers of vessel capacity, negotiating charter agreements.

- Marketing:

- Marketing Manager: 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

- Business Development Manager: 3+ years of experience in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and developing strategic partnerships.

Qualifications:

- Relevant degree or certification in Maritime, Business, or related field

- Proven experience in the bulk carrier shipping industry

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
