Cornerstone Middle East is a fast-growing Testing & Inspection company serving infrastructure, contractors, and facility management clients across the UAE.

We are looking for a strong Operations Manager to take full control of project delivery, team discipline, report quality, and client execution.

This role exists to eliminate delays, enforce accountability, and ensure projects are delivered professionally and on time.

This is a leadership role focused on execution excellence and operational control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee all active projects across service lines (CCTV, HVAC TAB, Electrical Testing, Façade Testing, etc.)
  • Track project timelines and ensure on-time completion
  • Monitor daily field productivity and mobilization planning
  • Identify bottlenecks and resolve operational delays

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Directly manage Project Engineers and Technical Inspectors
  • Conduct weekly delivery meetings
  • Set clear execution targets for each project
  • Enforce accountability and performance standards
  • Support engineers in improving client handling and leadership skills

3. Report Quality & QA Control

  • Implement internal QA review before report submission
  • Ensure zero repeated errors and minimal report rejections
  • Standardize report templates and submission process
  • Maintain documentation control and compliance

4. Client Management During Execution

  • Act as escalation point for operational issues
  • Attend key client meetings when required
  • Ensure smooth communication from mobilization to completion
  • Secure project sign-off before invoicing

5. Cash Flow & Project Closure Discipline

  • Ensure reports are submitted on time to avoid payment delays
  • Coordinate with accounts team for invoice triggers
  • Track project closure milestones
  • Support reduction of payment cycle time

6. Process & System Development

  • Build SOPs for each service line
  • Implement delivery tracking dashboards
  • Improve internal workflow coordination
  • Work closely with CRM and operations systems

Candidate Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in engineering, inspection, or MEP /Facility management operations
  • Proven experience managing field teams
  • Strong leadership and accountability mindset
  • Experience handling contractor or FM clients in UAE
  • Structured and process-driven approach

Preferred:

  • Experience in Testing & Inspection environment
  • Knowledge of ISO-based quality systems
