Job Description

The annual base salary range for this role is $193,000-$238,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Required Skills
Operations Research Analyst shall possess the following capabilities:
- Research architectures
- Gathers Data needed to run models
- Develop mathematical or simulation modeling prototypes
- Maintain/update scenario runs
- Run the selected mathematical or simulation models
- Prepare reports defining the problem, its evaluation, and possible solutions
- Evaluate implementation and effectiveness of research
- Design and evaluate operational models where limited data is available
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering Management Science or related discipline and ten (10) years of experience in conducting analyses of management and operational problems using Operations
Research techniques or a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering Management Science, or related discipline and three (3) years of experience in conducting analyses of management and operational problems using Operations Research techniques; or a Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering Management Science, or related discipline and one (1) year of experience in conducting analyses of management and operational problems using Operations Research techniques is required.
- Experience conducting problem definition and gathering data requirements from stakeholders
- Oral and written communications skills to explain data analysis to stakeholders 10+ years of experience with conducting analysis of management and operational problems using operations research techniques
- 4+ years of experience with the application of modeling and simulation to address decision analysis problems
- 4+ years of experience conducting multiple objective decision analysis or cost benefit analysis in support of research objectives
- 4+ years of experience with PANDAS, R, Excel and VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi and CPLEX, EXTENDSIM, SAS, NETICA, stats models, Stata, MATLAB, or SPSS TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Desired Skills
- Experience with developing and performing verification and validation of models to ensure adequacy
- Experience developing and delivering training materials for operations research techniques
- Experience briefing results and preparing written reports on analytic approaches and methodologies
- Experience with the use of machine learning and large language models to solve complex problems
- Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
