Operations Supervisor

We are looking for a proactive and street-smart Sourcing Executive to onboard and manage trucks from the open market for a growing logistics marketplace. The role involves identifying, onboarding, and coordinating with individual truck owners and small fleet operators to fulfill daily transportation requirements across various routes.

This role is ideal for candidates who have strong communication skills, field experience, and the ability to build relationships with transporters and drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source trucks (light, medium, and heavy vehicles) from the open market as per operational demand
• Build and maintain relationships with individual truck owners, fleet operators, and transport vendors
• Negotiate rates, availability, and deployment timelines
• Coordinate daily truck deployment as per operational requirements
• Maintain updated records of available vehicles, documents, and driver details
• Ensure compliance with basic documentation (vehicle registration, insurance, permits, etc.)
• Act as a point of contact between operations team and transport partners
• Support expansion of the vendor network across different locations

Language Requirements (Mandatory):

• Hindi / Urdu – Fluent
• Punjabi – Preferred
• Arabic – At least one position requires Arabic-speaking capability

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Prior experience in logistics, transport sourcing, fleet management, or vendor coordination
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Field-oriented and comfortable working with transporters and drivers
• Basic understanding of trucking operations and routes
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requirements simultaneously

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
