Western Site Services LLC (a highly respected, service-oriented, family-operated, and women-owned portable sanitation and rental company serving Northern Nevada) is offering an excellent employment opportunity for a middle management Operations Supervisor with a minimum of 2 years of portable sanitation operational management, routing/dispatch, quality control, and safety compliance. Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Company President, the Operational Supervisor will play a key leadership role in supporting and directing the daily operations of service drivers, routes, and overall customer satisfaction that is in alignment with company standards.

To ensure success, the position focuses heavily on thoughtful work, careful adherence to defined processes, and the ability to produce repeatable results. The person in this position should be helpful in nature, providing support or service in an environment free from competition. When interacting with others, particularly customers, this person should be pleasant and professional, with a focus on seeing work through correctly.

Training opportunities will be ongoing and thorough to develop expertise and increase confidence. Work will require competence, conscientiousness, and collaboration. Though technical expertise may not be required in every area, this person must a strong understanding of the different systems and processes throughout the organization. This individual may be asked to serve as a liaison between teams, working to get others get up to speed even when they have just a general understanding of a concept or project.

Job Description:

Operations & Logistics

  • Supervise the scheduling, routing, and dispatching of service trucks for efficient service coverage.
  • Ensure timely delivery, servicing, and pickup of portable toilets at customer locations.
  • Monitor and maintain quality of service, customer job sites and equipment.
  • Optimize operational procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Team Management

  • Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate field service drivers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Develop schedules and assign tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Promote a positive work environment and enforce company policies.

Customer Service & Quality Control

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient service and quick resolution of issues.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to maintain cleanliness and service standards.
  • Address customer complaints and implement solutions to improve service quality.

Safety & Compliance

  • Collaborate with Company President to ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding sanitation and waste disposal.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure employees follow proper procedures.
  • Support inter-departments to maintain accurate records of maintenance, service schedules, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in operations management, preferably in the sanitation, waste management, or transportation industry.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage logistics, fleet operations, and service scheduling efficiently.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for sanitation services.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using routing optimization software and other relevant technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies effectively.

Work Conditions:

  • In-person work; predominantly office-based but requires field visits and hands-on management.
  • Must be available for emergency calls and on-call scheduling.
  • Work involves outdoor conditions, vehicle monitoring, and compliance checks.

Full-Time Employment:

  • Work hours – Start of Operations - Monday – Friday
  • Compensation is based on experience. Benefits:100% Employer paid Medical. dental, vision, and life insurance after 90 Day probationary period: Full-Time employees receive paid time off and holiday pay. After a year of employment, we provide a matching 401K option.
