Operations Supervisor - Logistics (Entry Level)

We are seeking an organized, motivated, and dependable Operations Supervisor to support daily transportation and delivery operations Monday through Saturday in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a leadership position and gain hands-on operations management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise day-to-day driver operations
• Handle high call volume and operational communication throughout the day
• Coordinate schedules, coverage, and daily operational needs
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations
• Respond quickly to issues and help resolve challenges in real time
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery and order accuracy
• Communicate professionally with drivers, customers, and internal teams

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable handling high call volume in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and respond quickly to issues
• Leadership, customer service, or team coordination experience is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Position Details

• Primarily remote position
• Occasional onsite visits within the Western North Carolina area may be required
• Full-time schedule with weekend operational responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
