Operations Support Administrator

Location: Business Bay, Dubai (office-based with occasional onsite client visits)

About MicroNet

MicroNet is a hospitality-focused Managed Service Provider delivering 24/7 IT support, infrastructure projects and technical consultancy across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the US. Our clients include restaurant groups, hotels and premium leisure brands who depend on fast, structured and reliable operational support.

We are now looking for a highly organised Operations Support Administrator to support our Operations team and keep our service delivery running smoothly behind the scenes.

Role Overview

This role is perfect for someone who is naturally organised, professional in their communication and enjoys keeping things structured. You will act as the administrative backbone of the Operations function — ensuring tickets are provisioned correctly, calendars are managed, engineers are in the right place at the right time, and communication flows clearly across teams and clients.

This is not a call-centre or purely desk-based admin role. You will have visibility across projects, service desk activity and real client operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provisioning & Ticket Administration

  • Create and manage all provisioning tickets within our service desk system.
  • Ensure tickets are structured clearly, correctly categorised and fully documented.
  • Track ticket progress and follow up where required.

Scheduling & Calendar Management

  • Maintain engineer calendars using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Coordinate onsite visits, project schedules and resource availability.
  • Ensure appointments are correctly logged and communicated.

Client & Internal Communication

  • Draft clear, professional emails to clients, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ensure all communications are accurate, well-structured and timely.
  • Act as the first point of contact for operational coordination queries.

Onsite Coordination

  • Attend occasional onsite client visits to assist with logistics, documentation and coordination.
  • Support engineers with operational requirements before, during and after visits.

General Operations Administration

  • Maintain organised records, logs and internal documentation.
  • Support the Operations Director and Technical Services team with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Confident using Microsoft Outlook (calendar management is a core part of the role).
  • Comfortable sending professional emails and managing multiple tasks at once.
  • Calm, structured and reliable under pressure.
  • Able to work from the office and attend client sites when required.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative, operations or office-support role.
  • Exposure to ticketing systems, scheduling tools or service-based environments.
  • Experience working in IT, hospitality or professional services is an advantage but not essential.
