Operator - Heavy Equipment

Heavy Equipment Operators needed immediately.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation: Maneuvers levers, pedals, and steering wheels to operate machines like backhoes, cranes, motor graders, and forklifts.
• Site Preparation: Clears, grades, and shapes land for construction projects.
• Material Handling: Moves, lifts, loads, and unloads heavy materials, soil, and debris.
• Maintenance & Inspection: Conducts daily, pre-and post-operation inspections to check fluid levels, safety devices, and overall machine condition.
• Safety Compliance: Adheres to strict safety guidelines, monitors for overhead/underground hazards, and uses hand/audio signals to communicate with crew members.
• Documentation: Maintains logs of daily activities, maintenance, and repair records.
• Project Tasks: Performs tasks such as trenching, pipe laying, road building, and demolition.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of hydraulic systems, machine controls, and basic repair, as noted on YouTube and.
• Spatial Awareness: Ability to operate large machinery in tight spaces with high precision, say the Bureau of Labor Statistics and.
