Position Summary
Shift availability: 3A-11:30A & 11A - 7:30A
Within the production division, an Operator – Level I will be available to carry out various responsibilities. In particular, obtaining newly packaged and sealed bags with date labels, washing the leaves for the tamales, and cleaning the beans An Operator – Level I’s responsibilities include supporting several sectors. They may fill a variety of tasks that don't need for experience; they are not experts in a specific task.
The essential functions and responsibilities of an Operator – Level I are as follows:
- Complete assigned M.O.’s without additional assistance.
- Assist in all processes within the department alongside other team members.
- Stage ingredients for planned processes.
- Retrieve ingredients and materials for in-progress processes.
- Prepare materials required for processes (e.g. labeling bags, sifting beans, etc.)
- Working on the production lines and meeting production targets.
- Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
- Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Understand and execute FIFO protocols and food rotations practices.
- Understand and execute GMP’s at all times.
Education, Skills, and Requirements
- Basic schooling
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic
- Know how to read and write
- Required to know basic principles of food handling
- Active food handler certificate
- Ability to follow directions
- Follows attendance protocols according to the Company handbook
- Ability to work independently occasionally
- Ability to lift or move heavy products
- ADA Training
- Workplace Violence Training
- Substance Use Disorder Training
Pay: $19.00 per hour
