Operator / Operator Non-Emergency Medical and Private Transport

E-Z Trans, Inc is hiring drivers within the Los Angeles Area.

The Driver provides passengers with safe and friendly transportation in vehicles designed for wheelchair accessibility, seats and other special access. This position focuses on non-emergency medical transportation, community transit programs, and we welcome candidates with experience in customer interactions, transporter health-care, and ability to provide high-quality member care. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Pay Rate: $18.00-20.00 Per Hour.

Core Competencies/Responsibilities:

• Transporting passengers as listed on a driver manifest, which includes designated pick-up and drop-off locations and times, issued daily.
• Maintaining a secure environment for members, including escorting riders to and from the vehicle and providing physical assistance to passengers, when requested.
• Exercising patience and sensitivity toward all members
• Practicing professionalism in action and in speech to family members, staff at offices, agencies and the general public.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver License and in good standing.
• High degree of comfort working with people with disabilities.
• Must be 21 years of age with proof of two consecutive years of holding a License.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.
• Possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and decision-making skills.
• Other requirements may be required depending on location.

Willing and able to work a flexible schedule within a 7-day work week, including holidays, with additional flexibility during high volume times of the year. Business Hours are 5 AM – 9 PM PST.

Full time schedules available 05:00AM - 09:00PM, Weekend availability is a must.

Scheduling is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
