ROBOT WELD OPERATOR

Responsibilities:
Read and understand work orders, blueprints, written and verbal instructions to ensure job specifications are met.
Performs visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop fixtures for robotic welding projects, including the lamp tables and other fixtures.
Maintain equipment and tooling by performing basic preventive maintenance and proper tool storage including replacing consumables and cleaning the plasma tables and gantry when needed.
Set robotic weld and weave schedules, TAST (through arc seam track) in the PLC or pendant.
Welding knowledge on torch work angles and travel speeds to produce quality robotic welds
Set and adjust calibration of robotic weld cell safety devices such as but not limited to light curtains, service door switches, prox switches, etc.
Follow any and all GMPs and safety procedures at all times.
Reports any equipment failure or maintenance issues to Production Leadership on the maintenance team.
Operate forklift and other pieces of equipment to unload other production materials such as consumables, gas, and empty scrap bins.
Perform other job duties and responsibilities as needed by Production Leadership.
Qualifications:
Robotic Arc Welding Experience preferred, specifically with Fanuc or Lincoln automation systems.
Any welding experience is a plus.
Experience with Fanuc Arcmate robotic programming is a plus.
Solid understanding of hand tools such as a tape measure, hand plasma, speed square, etc.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to multitask, think critically to resolve problems on the production floor while maintaining high quality.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Spanish is a plus.
