Ophthalmic Assistant

Are you passionate about eye care and patient service? Our busy ophthalmology practice is looking for a dedicated Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team!

Location: Bloomington, IN
Position: Full-time Ophthalmic Assistant
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:45 am - 5 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist ophthalmologists with patient exams
• Perform basic eye tests (visual acuity, refractions, etc.)
• Administer eye drops and prepare patients for procedures
• Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments
• Educate patients on eye care and treatment plans

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in eye care or medical assisting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and grow in the field
