We are inviting applications for a qualified Ophthalmologist Doctor to join our Raipur team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for comprehensive eye care, surgical procedures, and patient management.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Patient Management

  • Examine patients and diagnose eye diseases and disorders.
  • Provide consultation, prescribe medication and plan treatments.
  • Manage OPD patients, perform follow-ups and handle emergency cases.
  • Counsel patients regarding surgical and nonsurgical options.

Surgical & Procedural Duties

  • Perform cataract, retina, glaucoma or other ophthalmic surgeries as per expertise.
  • Ensure all procedures follow OT safety and sterilization protocols.
  • Collaborate with OT staff and anesthetists for smooth surgical workflow.

Diagnostics & Technology

  • Use and interpret diagnostic tests such as OCT, Fundus Photography, Perimetry, Biometry and Optical Coherence systems.
  • Utilize advanced ophthalmic equipment for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain proper patient records, surgical notes, and prescriptions.
  • Follow hospital and NABH guidelines for clinical documentation and patient safety.
  • Participate in audits, CMEs, and internal training programs.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with senior consultants, optometrists, and nursing staff.
  • Support junior doctors and interns through supervision and training.
  • Engage in academic meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications

  • Education: MS / DNB / DO in Ophthalmology (recognized by MCI / NMC).
  • Experience: 1-5 years of experience in ophthalmology (retina, cataract, or general ophthalmology).
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-care orientation.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹82,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
