Ophthalmology Resident

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients with vision and eye disorders
• Assist consultants during ophthalmic surgical procedures
• Diagnose glaucoma cataract and retinal conditions
• Perform detailed slit lamp eye examinations
• Prescribe medications and corrective lenses appropriately
• Maintain accurate patient medical documentation records
• Participate in emergency ophthalmic case management
• Educate patients about eye health prevention.

Skill & Experience

• Strong knowledge of ophthalmology diagnostic techniques
• Ability to perform microsurgical assistance confidently
• Excellent patient communication and counseling skills
• Skilled in using ophthalmic medical equipment
• Strong clinical decision making under pressure
• Commitment to continuous medical education training.
