Job Title: Opthalmic Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
Duties include:
- Handle incoming calls for appointment scheduling and patient care
-Check patients in for appointments, scanning cards and verifying information
-Perform preliminary screening, AUTO K, IOP CHECK, OPTOS, neutralize lenses using auto lensometer
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients
-Check in contact lenses and glasses
-Notify patients product is ready
Skills:
- Proficiency in Medical office procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry tasks
