What You’ll Do

As an Optical Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding in-store experience while helping patients find the perfect eyewear solutions.

• Greet every customer with a warm, welcoming approach
• Build relationships and attract new clientele to the practice
• Understand customer needs and recommend tailored eyewear solutions
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge and confidently present options
• Upsell products and maximize sales opportunities
• Assist with frame selection, fittings, and lens recommendations
• Accurately process prescriptions and ensure proper lens placement
• Maintain urgency in serving customers and exceeding expectations
• Collaborate with opticians and team members as needed
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and encourage referrals

What We’re Looking For

• Previous optical, retail, or office experience (preferred)
• Strong customer service and sales background
• Comfortable using POS systems, computers, and technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to ask the right questions
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

• Full-time (8-hour shifts)
• Monday to Friday availability required
• Weekend availability required

Compensation

• $16.00 – $19.00 per hour, based on experience
