Optical Technician

Lens Preparation- Select appropriate lens materials and coatings, and use tools to grind, edge, and polish lenses to specifications.

Fitting Eyewear - To fit lenses into frames, adjust them for comfort, and ensure proper alignment.

Equipment Maintenance - To maintain and calibrate optical equipment, ensuring it functions properly.

Quality Control - To perform quality control checks on finished lenses and eyewear to ensure accuracy and quality.

Customer Service - Youmay interact with patients, answer questions, and provide guidance on lens care and to work closely with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other staff.

Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workplace.
