Optician / Doctor's Assistant

Private Optometry office in Sugar Land, TX has an opening for a full-time Optician / Doctor's Assistant.

We are a family-oriented practice looking for a friendly and pleasant individual who loves working with people. Applicants must have good computer and communication skills. Duties include making appointments, optical sales, pre-testing, contact lens dispensing, insurance verification, and general office duties.

Optical experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate who is motivated and a quick learner.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Continuous employment: 1 year (Required)
• Optical: 1 year (Preferred)
• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
