We have posted a similar position recently, but are posting again due to our current staffing demands, which have made it more important for us to find the right candidate with the right background - experience in the optical field is a SIGNIFICANT benefit, due to our need to add to our team quickly and effectively in order to care for our current patient load, and to continue to grow our office.

What we are looking for:

Any previous experience in optical settings or clinic environments is highly preferred; familiarity with optical experience is a plus.

Strong knowledge of ophthalmology principles, anatomy of the eye, physiology concepts, medical terminology, and medical coding practices is a great plus!

Experience working with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms is desirable.

Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with patients of all ages—including pediatrics—and team members.

Willingness to learn new skills related to medical billing, optical technology, or advanced laboratory procedures as needed. Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
