Optician/Sales Associate

We are seeking an optician to join our optical sales team. Physicians' Optical at McMinnville Eye Clinic provides upscale optical services in McMinnville and Lincoln City. The successful candidate will be positive, motivated and provide a high level of patient service. Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required.

Job Duties:

Fills ophthalmic eyeglass prescription, fits and adapts frames/lenses including:
Educate patients regarding lenses, coatings and options available
Working with the patient to select frames/lenses
Obtain accurate measurements using appropriate devices and methods
Adjust/repair frames
Inspection of lenses prior to dispense
Troubleshoots issues related to prescription
Respond to patient inquiries
Knowledge of vision insurance benefit coverage
An understanding of inventory protocols
Provides excellent patient service with attention to detail
Work with Practice Manager to maintain practice objectives
Available to work Saturdays (in rotation with other opticians)
Ability to multi-task and keep up in a fast paced environment
Dedication, dependable, excellent attendance

ABO certification preferred. We may consider an experienced Optical Assistant or non-certified Optician.
