Optician/Sales Associate - Retail sales experience preferred

As an Optician/Sales Associate , you will play a key role in helping patients select the perfect eyewear while driving sales and building customer relationships. Your expertise in optical products and passion for sales will ensure that every customer leaves our clinic satisfied and excited about their purchase

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that suit their style, prescription needs, and budget.
• Educate customers on lens technology, coatings, and eyewear benefits to maximize sales.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Excellent phone etiquette; answer phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner and greet all patients coming into the office.
• Conducting initial assessment of a patient, including listening to their concerns, obtaining a relevant medical history, and measuring intraocular pressures, refraction, visual acuities, and more.
• Perform work accurately and thoroughly, sell glasses and contact lenses.
• Scheduling appointments and verifying insurance.
• Process sales transactions, manage inventory, and handle product inquiries.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Stay updated on the latest eyewear trends and industry advancements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in optical sales, retail, or a similar customer-facing role
• Strong sales skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of optical products, prescriptions, and frame styling (preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
• Attention to detail and a passion for helping people improve their vision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
