Optometric Technician / Receptionist

About us

Red Rock Vision is an independent optometry office located in Summerlin, NV.

Duties of an Optomeric Technician include but is not limited to :

Assisting the optometrist by performing patient pre-tests, conducting vision screenings, preparing exam rooms, and helping with administrative and optical tasks like managing records, appointment setting & call intake, educating patients on contacts, and adjusting glasses, working in clinics or private practices to support comprehensive eye care.

Shift hours are:

10:00AM-7:00PM

10:00AM-2:00PM

3:00PM-7:00PM

Experience:
- Previous experience in an Optometry setting is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of Office Mate is a bonus but not necessary, will trian
- Basic computer skills required with strong attention to detail
- Bilingual is a plus
- Excellent communication skills & telephone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
