We are looking for an energetic person to join our fast paced team! Must love working with people, be comfortable working with computers and technology, and is a team player.
This will be a heavy part-time position or full time, between 30-36 hour per week. Primarily for our Oshkosh location, but will need to be needed in Appleton 1-2 times per week.
Optometric Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assistant the Doctor during the exams
- Preform special testing on patients needed by the doctors
- Consult with patients, accurately document existing conditions and complaints, and chart medical history to prep for exams
- Maintain smooth patient flow and assure appointments stay on-time
- Use electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist patients with inserting, removing, and caring for contact lenses.
Required Skills & Knowledge:

- Computer Literacy - Basic, non-technical knowledge about computers and how to use them. This includes familiarity and experience with computers and software.

Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, normal scheduled hours 7:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm
- Hours may vary depending on the day
