Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Optometrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and overall eye health using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and recommend appropriate treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper use of corrective devices.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for complex cases involving ophthalmology or pediatrics.
• Ensure aseptic techniques are followed during examinations and procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of ophthalmology principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience with optical equipment and understanding of optical principles for fitting lenses.
• Ability to perform vital signs assessments and interpret medical records accurately.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and medical coding practices.
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service and clear communication.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $132,821.98 per year
