Oracle Financial Consultant

Oracle Financial Consultant (Oracle EBS R12)

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an Oracle Financial Consultant to implement, support, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules. This role will ensure alignment with business requirements and best practices, particularly within the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and support Oracle EBS R12 Financial Modules, including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance users.
  • Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing support.
  • Coordinate with the technical team for customizations, reports, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and VAT regulations (GCC experience preferred).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Oracle Financial certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • 7 years of experience in Oracle EBS Financials.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12.
  • Experience in at least 1–2 full-cycle implementations.
  • Experience in the GCC region is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of VAT implementation in the GCC is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and ERP best practices.
  • Experience in system setups, SLA, and reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate with the technical team on:
  • Custom reports
  • Interfaces
  • Data migration
  • Basic understanding of SQL is preferred.
