Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant (Finance & SCM)

Engagement Type: Fixed Term Contract

Duration: 6 months

Location: Dubai (Onsite)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with Oracle Financials and Supply Chain Management modules.
  • At least 2 years of direct involvement in supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud (SaaS) applications for Finance and SCM.
  • Proven track record of delivering at least one full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementation as a functional consultant across Finance and SCM domains.
  • Familiarity with Fusion Data Migration processes is a plus.


Role Summary:

The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle Fusion Finance and SCM, supporting business operations through configuration, troubleshooting, and process enhancement. The role involves close collaboration with different business units to ensure optimal use of Oracle Fusion applications.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide daily functional assistance to users across Finance and SCM modules.
  • Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth system performance.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business unit leaders and key users.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in meetings and written correspondence.
  • Challenge existing processes constructively to drive improvements.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented approach.


Process Optimization:

  • Work with business teams to gather requirements and understand operational workflows.
  • Lead workshops to capture functional needs and translate them into system specifications.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement enhancements within Oracle Fusion.
  • Document functional designs, workflows, training materials, and user guides.
  • Deliver training sessions and provide post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with developers, team leads, and project managers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and execute test plans and support users during go-live.


Technical Expertise:

Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion modules including:

  • Finance: Accounts Payable, Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Cash Management.
  • SCM: Procurement, Sourcing, Inventory, and Self-Service Procurement.


Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed about new features and updates in Oracle Fusion.
  • Recommend enhancements and innovative solutions to improve business operations.
