Profile - Fusion HCM Senior Functional Analyst
Education and Certification - Required:
- University degree in human resources, business administration, information technology, computer science or a related field.
- Oracle Fusion HCM related certification(s)
- Prince 2 or ITIL certification
- PeopleSoft certification(s)
Skills Set - Required:
- Strong functional knowledge including the following Oracle Fusion HCM modules: Core HR, Compensation and Benefits, Security
- Experience with HCM Extracts, HDL Loader, Workflow, Personalization, OTBI etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
Skills Set - Desirable:
- Functional knowledge of the following modules: Talent management
Experience - Required:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in ERP systems within HCM domain.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting Oracle Fusion HCM modules.
- Has implemented at least one end to end Fusion HCM implementation OR supporting and managing quarterly upgrade cycles.
- Experience working with multiple Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Compensation and Benefits (ICP), Security.
- Strong background in facilitating requirement gathering workshops and solution design sessions with business stakeholders.
- Experience in post-implementation support and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience working on data migration activities, such as mapping, cleansing, validation, and troubleshooting.
Experience - Desirable:
- Prior experience working with United Nations organizations or international organizations.
- Hands-on functional experience in cloud migration projects from Oracle PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion HCM.
Tasks:
- Act as the HCM functional expert in the AIMS transformation project.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Budget and other business units to analyze and validate existing HR business processes and functional requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and maximize the use of standard Oracle Fusion HCM functionalities.
- HCM Solution design validation and configuration oversight, ensuring they meet defined business needs, prioritizing standard functionality over legacy customizations.
- Prepare functional design documents for reports, integrations, and PaaS extensions.
- Develop and execute test scripts, contribute to functional testing activities, including system integration and User Acceptance Testing. Analyze and troubleshoot identified defects, collaborate with technical team to resolve functional issues.
- Assist with Data Migration activities, provide functional expertise in data mapping, cleansing, validation, and issue resolution during migration phases.
- Support go-live readiness and post-deployment stabilization efforts by resolving functional issues, handling change requests and advising on upgrades.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to internal team members on Fusion HCM functionality and best practices
Deliverables:
- The Fusion HCM Senior Functional Analyst will work in collaboration with the project and implementation team to achieve the following deliverables:
- Functional Design Oversight: Review, refine, and update functional design specifications across multiple HCM modules to align with evolving business requirements.
- Configuration Governance: Manage and maintain configuration workbooks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and traceability throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Solution Documentation: Develop comprehensive functional design documents for reports, interfaces, and PaaS (Platform as a Service) extensions to support technical development and integration activities.
- Testing & Training Support: Contribute to the preparation of testing scripts and training materials to support system validation and user enablement.
- Business Process Mapping: Create and maintain business process documentation to support process standardization and future operational alignment.
- Data Conversion Validation: Prepare data conversion validation documentation to support migration accuracy and ensure integrity during legacy-to-Oracle transitions.
