Job Description
- Strong hands on experience in Oracle Fusion Payroll - UAE.
- Excellent understanding of:
- UAE Labor Law concepts (Gratuity / EOSB)
- Allowances and deductions
- Payroll retro processing
- Final settlement processing
- Experience in production support (AMS) environment.
- Strong issue analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Techno-Functional Skills
- Payroll ESS processes and diagnostics
- OTBI / BI Publisher
- Payroll costing and GL integration basics
- Basic understanding of Fast Formulas (preferred) Process & Tools
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
Key Responsibilities Payroll Production Support (UAE)
- Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Fusion Payroll - UAE Legislation.
- Support end-to-end payroll processing including:
- Payroll run
- pre-payments
- Payroll reversals and adjustments
- Resolve payroll discrepancies, retro pay issues, and balance mismatches.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll cycles ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and payroll regulations.
- Handle payroll incidents, queries, and service requests within agreed SLAs.
UAE Payroll Functional Expertise
- Configure and support:
- Payroll elements (basic, allowances, deductions)
- Salary structures and formulas
- Retroactive pay
- End of Service Benefits (EOSB / Gratuity)
- Leave encashment
- Unpaid leave deductions
- Support WPS (Wage Protection System) file generation and validation.
- Handle Final Settlement (F&F) calculations including EOSB, leave balance, and pending payments.
- Manage payroll for multiple employee categories (monthly, daily, etc.).
Techno-Functional & Integration Support
- Support payroll-related data loads and corrections using:
- HDL / HSDL
- Payroll batch loaders
- Troubleshoot payroll integrations with:
- Banks (WPS files)
- Finance / GL (costing integration)
- Third-party systems
- Analyze and resolve errors in:
- Payroll flow logs
- Extract and interface failures
- Coordinate with technical/integration teams (OIC/BI/Finance) as needed.
Payroll Reporting & Validation
- Support payroll reports using:
- Perform data reconciliation between:
- Payroll
- Core HR
- Finance / GL
- Support statutory and management payroll reporting.
Change Requests & Enhancements
- Perform impact analysis and implement minor payroll enhancements.
- Business policy updates
- Regulatory changes
- Assist with Oracle quarterly patch testing (payroll regression testing).
Documentation & Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare and maintain:
- Communicate effectively with:
- HR Operations
- Payroll teams
- Finance teams
- IT and Oracle Support
