Oracle PL/SQL Developer

• Design, develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions and triggers to support application and reporting needs.
• Write efficient SQL for OLTP and reporting workloads; optimize queries and tune PL/SQL for performance.
• Develop, maintain and document Unix shell scripts (bash/sh) for automation: data loads, CDC jobs, scheduled processes, log rotation, monitoring and alerts.
• Build and manage batch job schedules (cron or enterprise scheduler), ensuring robust error handling and retries.
• Implement and support database interfaces / ETL flows between systems (flat-file loads, SFTP, APIs, message queues).
• Troubleshoot production incidents: analyze traces, AWR/ASH, execution plans, and implement fixes.
• Produce unit tests and support integration & regression testing for database changes and scripts.
• Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards and CI/CD processes for DB/script deploys.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation (runbooks, deployment steps, data dictionary).
• Liaise with application developers, DBAs, operations and business stakeholders to prioritize work and ensure data integrity.
