Oral And Maxillofacial Surgeon

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a variety of surgical procedures related to the mouth, jaws, and face, while providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in oral surgery and demonstrate proficiency in various dental technologies and practices. Responsibilities

• Perform complex surgical procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Implement aseptic techniques to ensure infection control during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with dental staff to provide comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting.
• Stay updated on advancements in oral surgery and dental practices.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and recovery processes.

Experience

• Proven experience in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, general dentistry, and four-handed dentistry is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols.
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic environment is highly desirable.

Pay: $149,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
