Oral Surgeon

Job Summary
Looking for an Oral Surgeon to work on contract - Split production/collection.

Requirement: Sedation

Mostly wisdom teeth extractions and full mouth.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures, including dental extractions, impacted tooth removal, and implant placements
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and clinical examinations, to develop personalized treatment plans
• Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques such as X-rays and 3D scans to diagnose conditions accurately
• Maintain precise medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene in the clinic
• Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients on post-operative care instructions, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote long-term oral health

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to oral surgery
• Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
• Strong background in pediatric dentistry and experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
• Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures
• Expertise in dental fabrication processes including prosthodontics and root canal therapy when applicable
• Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that eases patient anxiety and builds trust
• Familiarity with infection control standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management
• Knowledge of general dentistry procedures related to extractions, endodontics, and other surgical interventions

Pay: $500.00 - $2,000.00 per hour
