Medical Scribe - Part Time - Not Returning To School In The Fall

Our oral and maxillofacial surgery practice is seeking a highly motivated, and professional individual. Our beautiful and well-established practice is committed to providing excellent patient care and is looking for someone who shares this same objective.

Our friendly and motivated team is seeking someone who is intelligent and detail oriented. This person should be reliable and flexible. Individual must be a hard worker, dependable, and present an outgoing positive personality! While we value experience, we are also willing to train the right person.

Hours of operation

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:15 A.M. to 5:15 P.M. (Hours may vary from time to time due to patient’s needs)

Responsibilities for Medical Scribe include, but are not limited to

• Type physician-dictated notes, letters, prescriptions and instructions for patients
• Send letters, x-rays and reports to referring doctors and physicians
• Download and export x-rays as instructed by the surgeon
• Scribe ensures that all clinical data, labs or other test results are recorded accurately in the patients’ medical chart
• Ensures all documents are signed off by the surgeon
• Posts treatment plans
• Answer phone calls
• Confirm and make appointments from time to time
• Proof read and edit all the surgeons’ medical documents for accuracy, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
• Ordering, exchanging and logging in dental implants as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
